Hi, I’m Astera.
As the daughter of two aerospace engineers, I love stories that inspire both the mind and the heart. My experience as a chronic illness survivor shapes my young adult stories of many genres that all share the same thread: true hope makes evil tremble.
After experiencing miraculous healing, I started adventuring. When I’m not writing or traveling, you can find me learning to surf at the Shark Bite Capital of the World, re-devouring my favorite sci-fi series, doodling “Jesus Freak” on my arm with eyeliner, or singing until the walls reverberate.
